Volatile oil prices and the subsequent rise in the price of raw materials such as coal and gas threaten to have an inflationary effect on the price of electricity.

Before production of clean energy from wind, we first need to develop a project. The project development includes:

  1. Pre-feasibility assessment and the securing of the site
  2. Wind resource assessment by installing wind masts
  3. Interconnection studies
  4. Environmental impact assessment
  5. Obtaining of local permits from authorities

Secondly, and simultaneously, we need to take into consideration project finance constraints:

  1. Build a financial model
  2. Negotiate Power Purchase Agreement terms

Thirdly, we select and contract engineering firms and wind turbine suppliers before starting construction.

Finally, we operate the wind turbines and provide energy through grid operators. Our energy is distributed by the local energy provider (for instance Reliant Energy in Texas).
